The intended uses are inbound/outbound UUCP, outbound calls using Pcomm, and inbound calls to shell and BBS (Waffle) access. It is important to both get best high-speed operation for uucp transfers, and to allow easy connects for 2400-baud modem users. How should the modem be configured? Any hints, suggestions, etc for getting that modem working properly on the Esix (Rev D) system would be appreciated.
