I am trying to assess the seriousness of the risk of viruses infecting
shrink-wrapped software packages purchased through legitimate
channels.  I would appreciate receiving reports or pointers to reports
of actual incidents.

My apologies if I'm rehashing an old subject.  I recall there being
some discussion of this on the net recently, but unfortunately, I did
not save any of it.  (I didn't know I cared at the time :-) ).
Pointers to archives would be welcome.

I would appreciate it if you'd respond to me directly at the email
address below.  I'd be happy to post a summary, if there's interest.
