I just got hold of Wincomm and found that it is great. However, my modem is an old (I mean OLD) model of Van Tel 2400, and I tried using different modem settings for it (Hayes 2400, Van Tel 2400+, Van Tel 2400 33 etc.) and everytime when I tried to start a session, it said "Return code error" or something like that. I used to use Procomm with the modem and I think Procomm does it by looking for the connection message like "CONNECT 2400" etc. How does I tell Wincomm to recognize my modem? If it can't be done, then I am willing to type the ATDT command myself, just want to find out how to get down to the modem level. Thanks a lot. Please reply to this account. - Stephen
