Message-ID: <6589@hub.ucsb.edu> Date: 14 Oct 90 00:36:32 GMT Sender: news@hub.ucsb.edu Reply-To: spinrad@cornu.ucsb.edu Distribution: comp Organization: UC Santa Barbara Computer Science Lines: 24 Please excuse the simple question as I'm new both to windows and VGA's (I justed upgraded from an 8088 system). After much effort, I finally got windows running (i.e. not hanging) in 1024x768 mode. But now everything is so tiny! Is there anyway that I can take advantage of my monitors hi resolution and still have everything be the same size? Also in order to read the character in the terminal ap, I switched to a bigger font. But now scrolling takes so long, I switched back to procomm. If it helps any I'm running: 386 33MHz Windows 3.0 Super 8900 TVGA VGA card with 1MB of ram TVGA's 1024x768 window vga driver installed Thanks, Sandy -- =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Sandy Spinrad Internet: spinrad@cornu.ucsb.edu
