Message-ID: <4668@optilink.UUCP> Date: 16 Oct 90 21:17:33 GMT Organization: Optilink Corporation, Petaluma, CA Lines: 14 I use Excel here under Windows 2.11; unfortunately, it quickly runs out RAM with large spreadsheets. Will the same problem exist under Windows 3.0? Or will Windows 3.0 handle large spreadsheets by swapping to disk? I don't care if it's slow, as long as it doesn't run out of memory. I'm considering upgrading to Windows 3.0 and buying Excel at home, and I want to know whether I should plan on buying more RAM at the same time. (I know it will work FASTER if I buy more RAM; my question is whether I NEED to buy more RAM). -- Clayton E. You must be kidding! No company would hold opinions like mine!
