I asked Orchid about the 800x600x256 driver for the Pro Plus.  They told
me they were not planning to write one since part of the 512K video memory
at 800x600 resolution has to be used as a video-buffer to enhance the slow
performance of the driver.

This may all be baloney but this is what I was told!!!!
