Why are TDD's stillaround. A nice little lap top aboutthe size of a 
well made TDD and having an internal modem would allow daef people 
to have a more versatile device for communicating with others. It seems 
almost silly that TDD's are still necessary for the deaf inthelight 
of their:
Cost
Dropping laptop prices
Limited use of TDD's.
