"root@shawn.uucp" has done creategroup on my machine with 
names such as ba.wanted, ba.market, alt.msdos.programmer, 
gnu.emacs and comp.sys.ibm.pc. I had thought that these 
groups have either been previously be deleted or 
changed.
   Were these messages bogus? Who is root@shawn.uucp?

By the way I am running CNEWS, and I think I am going to 
disable the remote newgroup command anyway.

  Any advice about the above would be greatly 
appreciated.
