I just bought a copy of The Blue Nile's CD 'Hats' and got home and placed
it in my CD player. When I pushed play, on the LCD display, the word
'Emphasis' lit up. I didn't even know there was a word emphasis on the
display. Can anyone explain what this means ?

Is it how the CD was recorded ? Is it going through some extra/less
ciruitry on my CD play (Denon DCD 920) ?

This is also one of the best CD's I've bought, my normal taste is rock/HM,
can anyone else recommend anything as well recorded or of the same genre.
