There is a local Irish pub that I frequent.  They have a toasted Irish
soda bread that has become a staple instead of the usual popcorn and
fries as a table munchie.  I plan on asking for their recipe the next
time I am in there, but thought I would also ask the great net folks
for any recipes they have.  The bread is very simple, containing only
the flour dough, salt and a sprinkling of herbs.  It is served 
toasted with plenty of butter.
