The military has to teach electronics to some real no-brainers, and they have to use instructors who are often only a day or two ahead of their class. (This is just the way it goes... Of course many of the students are very intelligent, and many instructors are quite good) What this means is that the textbooks and other training materials used are very easy to learn from. And many of these materials are available through the GPO. I don't know what the costs are, but you can contact them. In Chicago, the GPO bookstore's phone number is (312) 353-5133. Some other major cities have local GPO bookstores, or you can also order direct from DC.
