Message-ID: Date: 14 Oct 90 23:06:49 GMT Sender: news@tukki.jyu.fi (News articles) Organization: Turing Police, Criminal AI section Lines: 14 I remember seeing back in the good old days (when I still had time to play around with a soldering iron) plans for a device for loading NiCd accumulators with some kind of a pulsed system. The article (I believe it was in Elektor or some such hobby-electronics magazine) claimed that this lengthened the life of NiCd cells, since "bridging" in the cells was eliminated by the high- amperage pulses (no flames, I might be totally misquoting this -- it's a long time). Anyway, I suddenly now have a bunch of essentially dead NiCd's I'd like to play games with. Anyone have pointers on this, ideas on effectiveness etc. ? Responses via email, please. If there is larger interest, I'll sum. -- /* * * Otto J.
