There is a card whichs plugs into an IBM and a little metal box attached via cable with the ZIF socket. They will handle 2716-27512 and A type parts. CMOS is not recommended. It is also not recommended in systems with a clock speed greater than 10 Mhz. It probably relies on a software loop for timing, ill as that is. Oops, not recommended in systems >8 Mhz. It comes with a bit of sofware that deos nothing fancy. Just lets you read, compare, write, save dumps to disk. Iyt is made by Modular Circuit Technology, model MCT-EPROM. I think JDR microdevices sold them, maybe sells them still. Nothing fancy, kinda junky even, but I am glad I bought it, it has proven very usefull and will hold me over till I can afford a model that deos all the PALS and microcontrollers. When I get a job. You can reach Haltek at 408-744-1333 or 415-969-0510 --
