However, I don't think you can argue that god intended women to be auxiliary components of the church. The church is a political institution run by human beings. It is flawed just like any other political organization. Although some religious scholars will point to certain parts of the bible as proof that women are inferior to men, the document as a whole does not call for the submission of women. What you have here is a little knowledge becoming a dangerous thing. Note: I'm not picking on any one religion.
