I want to thank those who replied to this via news and e-mail. I got a lot of responses, all interesting. I'm still digesting them. Good stuff. The general consensus is that the soul (or your own interpretation of "soul") enters the "body" at conception, and further that the soul is in some way the prerequisite for conception.
