Keck Foundation to initiate a new research training program in the application of innovative computing technologies to biological problems. We are establishing an integrated interdisciplinary program with participation of a broad spectrum of faculty. The primary training faculty include: o C.T. Caskey (Baylor) - Human genome sequencing o W.Chiu (Baylor) - 3-D reconstruction of macromolecular assemblies o G.A. Gorry (Baylor) - Artificial intelligence o K.W. Kennedy (Rice) - Parallel processing in computing o G.C. King (Rice) - Macromolecular structure/dynamics and NMR o C.B. Lawrence (Baylor) - Computer analysis of gene sequence data o K.S.
