I want something to (routinely) pull out references related to my subject area by searching for certain keywords in the title. I also want to use it for preparing a specialized contents page for the Photosynthesis Researchers' List (PHOTOSYN@TAUNIVM.BITNET). My preference is for a VAX/VMS package and I may try and write one if necessary. I will also consider packages for VM/CMS or the humble PC. What a pity that the LISTSERV database package treats each journal issue as a single entry - I would be very happy to use the LISTSERV database functions if the BIO+JRNL database could be organised in the appropriate form.
