This is to alert all of those on the net who love to send me mail
about GenBank issues that I will be away next week due to an illness
in my family.  While I will take along a portable so as not to return
to total disaster, I would appreciate it greatly if anyone who needs
info about GenBank use the generic addresses, i.e.,
genbank@genbank.bio.net (or gos@genbank.bio.net for GOS issues),
instead of mailing things to me personally.  That way some one else
here can get to your query more rapidly than I will be able to.

The GenBank staff also regularly monitors the GenBank bulletin board,
genbank-bb@genbank.bio.net.  Questions about missing data or
corrections to existing data can be sent to genbank%life@lanl.gov.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.  I anticipate being back on
the job either November 2nd or 5th.  If you absolutely have to get to
me personally I will be checking mail sporadically, but give no
guarantees on how long it will take for me to respond.
