It appears, then, that we can remove the biz.comp.telebit newsgroup. We've received more information here, than has ever been posted there, and not from Telebit. This is not to say that their tech support via phone has been lacking; I have had numerous times in which I needed help, and have found the staff in general to be quite competent. When a manual was needed, one was shipped--no charge. Upgrades came directly from them (local Telebit vendors have been notorious for not knowing much technically about what they sell). All in all, I'd give them a high rating. Parenthetically, I think many of the problems we experience as modem users stem from the fact we are doing things with them not conceived in their testing or prototype phases (the same thing probably holds true for most computer equipment).
