Are there any shareware/PD versions or % look-alikes available. Thanks for any info you can give. There are several versions, all expensive, some of which may still be available through the usual channels. Digital Research's `DR Logo' and LCSI's Logo for the IBM PC are excellent commercial versions, though both are a bit dated now. Nimbus Logo for the RM Nimbus is an MS-DOS version with sprites and parallel processing, but it runs only on the RM Nimbus machine and not on the IBM-PC or clones. Marketed by Research Machines, Oxford, England. (I declare an interest: I wrote this one.) Have a look at LCSI's new Logo Writer: it is very different from the older Logo's and has a number of fascinating innovations. The address I have for LCSI is: 3300 chemin C^ote Vertu bureau 201 MONTR'EAL, Qu'ebec, Canada H4R 2B7 Phone 514 331 7090 -- Ken Johnson, AI Applications Institute, 80 South Bridge, Edinburgh EH1 1HN E-mail ken@aiai.ed.ac.uk, phone 031-225 4464 extension 213 `I have read your article, Mr Johnson, and I am no wiser now than when I started'. -- `Possibly not, sir, but far better informed.'
