On SCO XENIX V/386 2.3.3, using the almost latest development system, I receive the following error from 'ld'... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ld -r array.o cmd.o cons.o consarg.o doarg.o doio.o dolist.o dump.o eval.o form.o hash.o perly.o regcomp.o regexec.o stab.o str.o toke.o util.o perl.o -ldbm -lbsd -lcrypt -lx -lm -o uperl.o ld: error unknown option 'd' *** Error code 1 (ignored) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If I remove all the '-lXXX' components, it works fine. Is this only a problem on XENIX? Is there a way to make this work without including the absolute pathnames of the archives on the command line? I don't mind editing the Makefile, but I have to go back and do it each time! Sigh. -- +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ : Steven List @ Transact Software, Inc. :^>~ : : Chairman, Unify User Group of Northern California : : {apple,coherent,limbo,mips,pyramid,ubvax}!itkin@guinan.Transact.COM :
