Other than the README files for each platform, is there any 1 document
that discusses porting perl programs to the various platforms it resides
on. I didn't see it in the man pages. Is this discussed in the
soon-to-be classic book?
  Is perl now being considered for porting to other operating systems?
Which ones?
  And my last naive question, if Perl was mentioned in a USENIX
proceedings, could some one be as kind as to give me the citation.
