	I'm presently looking at different VLSI tools.  I've worked on Mentor
and VIVID systems but do not have access to Cadence.  

	From the brochure Cadence's tools seem very promising on all levels 
of the design process. (We're looking at about a 50,000 gate device)  If
any of you have used Cadence, please send me e-mail about what you think of 
the product.  Please also indicated the platform on which it is running.
