Message-ID: <40@tdatirv.UUCP> Date: 23 Oct 90 17:51:34 GMT Reply-To: sarima@tdatirv.UUCP (Stanley Friesen) Organization: Teradata Corp., Irvine Lines: 17 We are running SCO Xenix on a PC/AT clone, using the uucp software as distributed by SCO. I am trying to copy a file from a remote site using uucp, but when I try to run a command of the form: uucp uunet\!host\!/usr/spool/uucppublic/file file it responds with: syntax error uunet!host!/usr/spool/uucppublic/file As far as I can tell from the man page this is perectly legal. What am I doing wrong? And how do I fix it? Please answer by mail, I do not normally read this group. -- --------------- uunet!tdatirv!sarima (Stanley Friesen)
