I was just looking over old messages in this group and noticed two to which I might comment: 1) Regarding the Conner 100MB disks. I believe that all of the Conner "high capacity" disks use special formatting, and that you should NOT attempt to reformat them in the field. The factory told me originally that while most formatting programs would be unable to screw things up, there were a couple that might succeed in altering the formatting and this would render the disk useless without a return to the factory. The factory claims that only they can format those disks due to the special encoding used. 2) Fujitsu noise. If you're referring to the Fujitsu 2263 series 660MB disks, they are known to be noisier than some other brands. As such, they more be more suitable for use in a machine room than in an office. However, they are also supposedly very reliable, with a factory-backed 5 year "24 hour replacement" warranty. --Lauren--
