What if the battery goes dead before the power is restored? On the other hand, what if the server is on an UPS? Would it then be OK to do async writes? -- Craig Jackson dricejb@drilex.dri.mgh.com {bbn,axiom,redsox,atexnet,ka3ovk}!drilex!{dricej,dricejb}
