Message-ID: <69374@lll-winken.LLNL.GOV> Date: 26 Oct 90 17:23:16 GMT Sender: usenet@lll-winken.LLNL.GOV Organization: Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Lines: 11 Nntp-Posting-Host: lll-crg.llnl.gov Does anyone have any information (or can you point me at some) regarding the number of expected ethernet collisions given some network utilization. I can well imagine one needs to consider (the distribution of) frame size and access patterns. I'm interested in knowing when the number of collisions occuring is excessive. Any info is appreciated. Thanks. mb booloo@lll-crg.llnl.gov
