Message-ID: Date: 24 Oct 90 20:16:02 GMT Sender: news@travis.csd.harris.com Organization: Harris Computer Systems Division Lines: 27 If anyone knows of any debuggers out there with features that might be considered "realtime", please let me know. I am interested in both research and commercial products. The sort of things I am looking for: o Multi-language capability (Ada, C, Fortran, C++, etc). o Low overhead (possibly runs most of the debugger on a separate machine to avoid impact on the realtime system being debugged). o The ability to debug multiple processes (or Ada tasks, or both) from the same debug session and examine interactions between the tasks. o Nice user interface - possibly X based. I am not sure if any such beast exists, but it doesn't cost much to post a note and ask. If I get any useful information, I will summarize and post. Thanks in advance for any information you can provide. -- ====================================================================== domain: tahorsley@csd.harris.com USMail: Tom Horsley uucp: ...!uunet!hcx1!tahorsley 511 Kingbird Circle Delray Beach, FL 33444 +==== Censorship is the only form of Obscenity ======================+ | (Wait, I forgot government tobacco subsidies...) | +====================================================================+
