Coleman) Newsgroups: comp.sys.amiga Subject: Help with startup2.0 Message-ID: <923@babcock.cerc.wvu.wvnet.edu> Date: 19 Oct 90 04:49:20 GMT Sender: news@cerc.wvu.wvnet.edu Lines: 31 I need some with the syntax of startup2.0 which is on abcfd20... I installed it as per the docs and it runs, but it does not read the startup options. In desperation I tried the authous startup from the doc file: S:Startup 6 7 ;0:VD0: W/C Dir Loaded In. ;1:Standard Workbench ;2:VD0: C Dir / Cd Df1: ;3:Clean Mem. Demos!! ;4:Setup For Letters. Df1: ;5:Access Term W/Vd0: ;6:Manx Compiler Setup. but still only "Startup-Sequence #" is displayed for each option in the menu. This looks like a great utility, now if only I could get the options to read in so I don't have to memorize which selection runs which script. Thanks, Jim Coleman *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~* If Commodore were to come out with a shirt-pocket, 100 MIPS Amiga with 20 megs of memory and 1 gig of disk, and sold it for $300, the first thing the industry would ask is "Is it IBM compatible?". *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
