There are still things going on in the bug repair department, at least as far as I know. You would not want a buggy rom released for your 2000 would you? It is simply difficult to absolutely *know* when a program is going to be complete. I would rather wait and have a less-buggy OS than to have it now and suffer nasty bugs.
