As a part of the changeover, the dialup facilities currently dedicated to the old machine are going to be connected to a network terminal server from which I will have to connect (over an ethernet) to the machine I want to connect to. This will mean that I will no longer have a direct serial link to any of the machines on campus that I have accounts on. What will this do to DNET?
