Is there a pd package that provides a socket library?  (ie I don't want to
duplicate an effort if it's already been done)  Else, can anyone suggest
reasons why it wouldn't be feasible?  Thanks.

BTW, I'm still "researching" the problem...so I haven't touched design or
implementation yet.
