I am thinking about buying an A2000 + 4 MB 8-bit ram. I also wanna add an (GVP ?) '030 board with 4 MB 32 bit ram. It is my understanding that the '030 board can use the 8 bit ram after it exhausts its on-board 32 bit ram, at the cost of performance. I am going to have this 4 MB of 8 bit ram on an *UP! board --- my question is if I can put 8 MB of 8 bit ram on it, for use when using the 68000 (which can't use the memory on the GVP board, I was told) --- so I basically want a 2000 with a total of 12 MB on it (with only 8 MB accessible when running either processor). Is this OK or does it horribly cluster__ck the system? Inquiring minds want to know!!!! Thanks, Rod
