For those looking for tape input to the Toaster, there may be some inexpensive hope. Panasonic has released (or at least announced) two new Super VHS VCRs with built-in TBCs. One is in their consumer line, the other in the industrial line (priced at around $1500 and $2000, respectively). These offer only scan line correction (no full screen buffer), but, considering the power of the Toaster, that should be all you'd need. < Actually, it would be nice if NewTek bundled a TBC as an option. < 'Course, they'd have to find an OEM, and deal with that hassle & all. < Maybe later. < < -Dan It should be possible for NewTek to find a TBC with capabilities similar to the unit included in the Panasonic VCRs, which would keep the price down (probably $400-500). -- Chris (Insert phrase here) Seaman | /// cseaman@gateway.sequent.com | /// Make up your own ...!uunet!sequent!cseaman | \\\/// mind.
