I seem to remember there was both a PD APL and maybe a shareware APL (with source available for the latter, given that you've paid the fee). This is for a friend who actually needs a UNIX APL, preferably with a foreign function interface. I seem to remember one of the Amiga APLs had a foreign function interface (to Amiga shared libraries) and was hoping it could be ported to UNIX without too much trouble. With my luck they probably were optimized heavily in assembler. :-) I thought I had saved info on this online but grep can't find it. I'd rather if you replied via e-mail because I often have problems keeping up with the volume in this newsgroup. -- panon@ucs.ubc.ca or USERPAP1@UBCMTSG or USERPAP1@mtsg.ubc.ca Looking for a .signature?
