First it is a game like MM2, bards tale . (not real time like DM). story : Save the land from some evil doers. graphics : some are ok, some are really amateurish. (MM2 graphics were cute). and the window is way small. (After DM or MM2, a quarter screen is unacceptabl e), sound : beep, (DM was somptuous). animation : havent seen much. User interface : C-64 like enhanced by the Mouse . I hated it . There was no "pseudo" intuition to jump from menu to menu, you HAD to read all the texts to know at what level you were . Combat : SSI style . (phantasye (sp?)) you see a row of "dots" representing you. under a row of dots representing the monsters , well ... there goes the realism. Encounters: It is really fun to meet a fighter who wants to join you and see a picture of Rats ... Baseline : spend your hard earned money on some other program. MM2 , DM , Ultima . even the PD version of Rogue . Walter ps : The program multitasks. So you might want to get the game just to rip-off the few nice pictures there are in there (a grabbit should do the trick).
