Lines: 31 I was browsing thru an old issue of .info (#32 Sept 1990) and noticed the following in Tom Malcolm's CES Report: "...It was in Beast II, though, that I saw how Psygnosis is handling the playability problems. The game itself, of course, sets yet another new standard, and more than solves the problems of the original Beast. It operates in a sort of super-demo mode that will play each screen (or even the whole game) for you, but you can jump in any time and take up control yourself. If you're killed off, you can pick up where you left off without having to sit through interminable reloading sequences..." Is he talking about the same Beast II I have? I don't know anything about this super-demo mode. It sounds like he confused Beast II with The Killing Game Show. Isn't that game supposed to have something like what Tom describes? As Beast II seems to be quite difficult (even with Cheat mode), I am considering returning it to the dealer (don't buy Beast II from a $dealer$) and exchanging it for The Killing Game Show. My question(s): has anyone seen TKGS at a dealer yet, is the game better than Beast II (i.e. does it have comparable sound/graphics with better replay/demo features?), and should I proceed with this exchange? Today is 10/23/90. I have until Saturday, 10/27/90, to exchange the game.
