Keywords: scsi, hard disk, supra help Message-ID: <1990Oct23.191907.3110@hellgate.utah.edu> Date: 24 Oct 90 01:19:06 GMT Expires: Noveber 15, 1990 Followup-To: u-mderha@peruvian.utah.edu Organization: University of Utah CS Dept Lines: 18 I have an amiga 500 that I recently purchased a used supra scsi interface from a local computer store. I purchased it to go with a scsi harddisk I also recently purchased. The problem I'm having is that the supra documentation isn't that big on pin signals, and the harddisk came without a manual. So here is the situation. I have a 37pin DIN female connector on the interface, and a 50pin male ribbon connector on the hard disk. I'm pretty sture the interface is scsi, and the hard disk is a ST277N. Does anyone out there have enough experience and time to help me out? I have no problems with making my own cables, I just don't know enough to logically connect 37pins to 50. (Are these standard connectors?) Anyway your help will be appreciated. ========================================================================== Lekarz THE //\/\ //| \ / # Max Derhak (u-mderha@ug.utah.edu) :^> od \\ // \ //-| X # After all is said and done, a heck of Raju! \X/ \// | / \ o a lot more is said and done. - Murphy
