Ed only seems to make a tab 2 or 3 spaces, while Dnews puts a funny character where a tab should be. Is this normal, why does this happen and is there an easy way around it (no, I don't think running all my news articles through a program which expand tabs is easy)? It only happens (or seems to) on the Workbench screen. I use a utility which puts a shell on a seperate screen, and it doesn't happen there.
