With the 2.0 CLI comes Local environment variables. I have made use of these within my programs, as there are a few cases (Usernames/etc) where it is best to have these variables local to the program, rather than the global ENV: one. When I do a NewShell, I can check that the new process inherited all the settings of the old shell (A copy is made). However, I find programs that were run with Execute() do not seem to inherit the environment variables. Is there something I'm doing wrong. Must I make use of the new system command in 2.0 in order to transfer these local variables? Should I be looking elsewhere for the problem (I'll have to be doing some more testing, but so far it seems to be Execute() that is causing my problems) Any comments/etc appreciated. --- Opinions expressed in this message are my Own.
