Aren't they an old, slow, 5Meg hard disk that was one of the first available for the Apple II? Several questions: What type of interface is needed? Do they come with a card or do you need to buy a separate card? (And at what cost?) How slow are they, compared to some of the fast, new SCSI drives available? Will it work with both my Apple II+ and my Apple IIGS? With my GS, can I boot the system disk 5.0.2 (finder) off of it? I probably can't afford even the cheapest new SCSI drive (Which is probably $500 plus $100-$200 for the SCSI interface card), but I noticed the Profile hard disks are pretty cheap. Assuming the Profile will work fine, does anyone know the best place to get one (CHEAP) ?? Steve Jordan jordan@hpfcdj.hp.com
