Put the disk drive card in slot 6, and turn on the machine... If the disk drive light doesn't light up, then a) the disk drive is dead b) the disk drive card is dead c) both are dead The only thing that you can really do is find another card and disk drive to see if you can isolate which one is bad. This will probably require a trip to the dealer.
