It doesn't seem like it would be much more difficult to write than binscii, and you've already been practicing that! :-) I just got my hands on mcvert from the sumex archives, and it seems to be a pretty nice little program for Unix-based systems. Besides, the resulting .sit files are always smaller than the .hqx files, so it's really almost better that way. I would still like to see a GS version, though Later Dale LaFountain prophet@oxy.edu
