Activity in the Atari8 Forum is quite good...  Bob Puff, author of
BobTerm and SuperARC among other well known programs, is a Sysop
there, and is always available to answer questions.  If you're
interested in APAC or (GIF) graphics, J.D. Potter is there too..
 
Every Sunday night, there's an online conference in the Atari 8-bit
forum where you can ask about anything you're interested in, and
of course, there are hundreds of programs you can download..
 
I can't find it right here, but there's an 800 number you can call to
get a free signup package that includes some free online time so you
can give it a try for no cost.. if anyone's interested, I'll look it up..
