People keep telling me strange things about the TT: They drop in 1.44 MB drives, and ho, they are working properly without any hardware mod whatsoever. TOS reads and writes HD disks without a hassle; the DESKTOP formatter won't format them, but then, there are third-party formatters that will. Can someone imagine why they still sell the TT with those old drives? Dealers over here tell me that it can't be a price reason for HD drives are now as cheap as standard 720 KB drives.
