So, if such a file Since GEMDOS doesn't let you delete a folder which is not empty, the desktop has to delete all files and folders which are in the folder, if you drag a folder to the trash. Is it possible, that the desktop tests all folders, it finds in this folder, if their first char is a '.' to recognise the pseudo directory entries '.' and '..', which should not be deleted. If the desktop checks only the first char, it is not able to distinguish between a pseudo directory and a directory like '.XXX'. Any comments? Remo Hofer
