  All my answers are based on RSTS V9.0 or newer. If you're using an older
version, send mail or followup and I can research it.

  You need to have a privileged account to do this. If you know the password
to 1,2 that should do. Failing in that, do whatever you do to shut the sys-
tem down and during the reboot, when it says "Proceed with system startup?",
type Control-C. You now have a fully privileged account.

  SET SYSTEM/PASSWORD=new-password

  will change it.

  Not available. Accounting is kept, but it is a running total since a reset,
and you don't know when that was. You could do a DIR/DATE to find the date
last written (most likely, there are other options for that data field).

  Normally you'll have ERRCPY to log any errors, PBS to handle print and
batch processing (you might have some other jobs like OPSER instead).
