Message-ID: <1990Oct26.062017.19474@watcgl.waterloo.edu> Date: 26 Oct 90 06:20:17 GMT Sender: idallen@watcgl.waterloo.edu (Ian! D. Allen [CGL]) Organization: Computer Graphics Laboratory, University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Lines: 10 The add-on KDA50 controller for a DS5400 occupies three Qbus slots, because it needs three slot-widths for the four SDI disk cable sockets. Only two Qbus slots are needed for the controller; the third slot contains a standard bus grant card. Can I pull the grant card and put in a real Qbus option, such as a serial card? The TK70 controller also seems to take only half the Qbus slot; the other half of the slot has a card with nothing much on it. Can I use that half slot too? -- -IAN! (Ian! D.
