I am desperate so any help would *really* be appreciated. I'll even pay for copying and postage. I have a HP 2635-B console terminal (looks like a LA-120), and a Racal Vadec modem VA-811/12 and what I think is an autodialer VA-831-B housed in a VA1601U cabinet. I *think* that the units were working before I got them but I need to know what the zillion dip switches on both modem cards do. The HP printer head keeps oscillating between both ends of its travel and I don't know if it not connected corrctly of if it has an internal problem. Again, any help is most graciously welcome.
