If you want to get a hard drive, you should get the 100B power supply. You can try Eustace Enterprises or Newman Computer Exchange. I've heard that, and also that you should not use alcohol on the platen because it tends to dry it out. Tonight at our Rainbow User's meeting Geoff Reed suggested using a rubber/vinyl cleaner such as ARMOR ALL(tm). That makes a lot of sense to me. Just follow the directions. You can't. Code Blue will not work with any graphics application. The adaptation kit includes the appropriate display driver for the Rainbow. - -gary- - --- Opus-CBCS 1.12 * Origin: Glacier Peak Rainbow, Bellevue, WA - 206/644-8431 (1:343/3.0) ------------------------------ Date: 10-19-90 (16:16) To: DENIS CICCARELLI Subject: RE: MS-DOS DISCS From: AMER NELSON The only disks I know you can read DIRECTLY are IBM single-sided diskettes. By that I mean you just stick the diskettes into an RX-50 drive and READ it directly -- you can't write to it, however. There are other ways to get data off of double-sided IBM diskettes, but require the use of certain software utilities and other hardware products such as I-Drive or access to a 286 or 386 machine. ++ Amer ++ - --- Opus-CBCS 1.12 * Origin: Glacier Peak Rainbow, Bellevue, WA - 206/644-8431 (1:343/3.0) ------------------------------ Date: 10-20-90 (13:53) To: GEORGE THEALL Subject: RE: RAINBOW MONITOR From: PATRICK FINK > From: Lynne Meeks > > Yes!
